Dr. Baseera Ambreen participates in Iqbal Day celebrations at College of Statistical Sciences

A special event was held at the College of Statistical Sciences, Punjab University on November 27, 2025, to commemorate Iqbal Day. The event featured competitions in Bait Bazi, speech, and poster making, aiming to highlight Allama Iqbal's insightful philosophy and creative thought. The event was held under the patronage of Principal Professor Dr. Sohail Chand.

Students participated with great enthusiasm alongside college faculty, showcasing Iqbal's ideas through creative expression. Professor Dr. Baseera Ambreen, Director of the Institute of Urdu Language and Literature, Punjab University, participated as a judge and keynote speaker. She praised the students' literary and creative efforts, emphasizing the importance of encouraging creative expression among youth for national development.

Certificates and shields were awarded to outstanding performers. Dr. Sohail Chand presented Dr. Baseera Ambreen with a copy of the Holy Quran and expressed gratitude for her participation.
