Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Dean Faculty of Oriental Learning, University of the Punjab, Lahore, held a meeting with the Vice Chancellor of Faisalabad Medical University, Faisalabad. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Kamran presented his co-authored book titled “علامہ اقبال اور محمد عاکف ایرصوئے: دو عہد ساز شاعر"(A Comparative Study of the Thoughts and Similarities of Allama Iqbal and Turkish National Poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy) The book has been co-authored by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran and Dr. Halil Toker, Director of the Yunus Emre Turkish Cultural Center.

On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Zafar Ali Chaudhary was also acknowledged for his deep interest in the philosophy of Allama Iqbal. He possesses a rare and valuable collection of books on Allama Iqbal and Maulana Rumi, reflecting his scholarly engagement with classical and modern thought.

During the meeting, both sides held a detailed discussion regarding the upcoming celebrations of the 150th birth anniversary of Allama Iqbal. They emphasized the importance of promoting Iqbal’s philosophical vision and strengthening academic and cultural collaboration to highlight his enduring intellectual legacy.

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to foster scholarly cooperation and organize academic activities in connection with Iqbal’s anniversary celebrations.
